Poetry to Stardust

Poetry To StarDust, or PTSD, When twin flames burn to the ground, is my memoir written in poetic verse. Through poetry, I trace the arc of trauma: a love story that turned into something far darker. Across nine parts, the book takes the reader through a journey of love, illusion, survival, pain, and ultimately, healing.

My story begins with falling deeply in love, not with a person as they truly were, but with the version they presented to the world: someone who seemed to embody everything I had ever dreamed of. What felt like a perfect love slowly revealed itself to be something far darker, as the dream fractured into a nightmare of emotional and domestic abuse.

Alone in Ireland, far from my family and without a support system, I found myself navigating a reality I never imagined I would face.

Through each part of this memoir, I explore the aftermath of domestic violence, the invisible wounds, the lingering trauma, and the weight of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Yet within that darkness, there is movement toward healing. Through poetry, I began to reclaim my voice, transforming pain into something that reaches beyond survival.

Poetry To StarDust is both my testimony and my offering. I share my truth in the hope that the cycle of domestic violence may be interrupted, that others may find recognition, strength, and a way out, or, at the very least, feel seen.
Sometimes,
                   being seen
                   can be everything.
