“Grandpa the Sniper”

Frank Shouldice of Ballaghaderreen was a marksman at North King Street for the Irish Volunteers during the 1916 Easter Rising.

He never told his own story! His grandson and namesake set about putting the pieces together . . . which led to the book “Grandpa The Sniper

We will be hosting the author on Friday evening (11th March) at 5pm in Liber for a very special intimate event. Frank Shouldice will trace the background to the story his grandfather never told . . .
